Week 34 TRP Report: Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay led Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi kickstarted on a high note on the TRP charts. The show recorded a great reach and made impressions that have not been seen in the last five years. However, since the last two weeks, TRP for Kyunki Saas Bhi Bahu Thi has dropped, and the show was juggling between the third and the fourth spot. But with the latest BARC report, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has risen to number two once again after the second week. The two new star-led entrants — Amitabha Bachchan’s Kaun banega Crorepati 17 and Salman Khan-led Bigg Boss 19 — are languishing outside top 10 slots. However, Rupali Ganguly‘s Anupamaa continues to lead the charts with a rating of 2.4 and a reach of 3.5 million.
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi got a rating of 2 with a reach of 3.2 million in the 34th week. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah have also taken third and fourth positions. While Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata has a rating of 2 and a reach of 3.3 million. Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, on the other hand, had a rating of 1.9 and a reach of 3 million. Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 19 also clocked in a week of its release. Sadly, the show failed to make it top 10.
Bigg Boss 19 has bagged the 11th spot on the TRP chart with a rating of 1.3 and a reach of 2.9 million. Last week, Bigg Boss 19 makers had announced that the show had the biggest OTT opening in India. The show had a 2.3x higher reach and 2.4x higher watch time compared to the last season. Amitabh Bachchan’s KBC 17 has also been placed at 25th position this week with a rating of 0.8 and a reach of 2.6 million.
While Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Anupamaa, appear on Star Plus and JioHotstar from Monday to Sunday, Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 appears on Sony TV from Monday to Friday. Bigg Boss 19 this year is a digital-first season, so the fresh episodes stream on JioHotstar at 9 pm, and the same episode appears on Colors TV at 10:30 pm.
