Rajouri, Nov 12: Traffic on the Mughal Road resumed late Tuesday morning after the Mechanical Engineering Department carried out snow clearance work.
The road was earlier closed for the movement of vehicles late Monday evening after the area received the season’s first snowfall.
Amid snowfall, slippery conditions were witnessed on the Mughal Road, particularly in the area near Pir Ki Gali after which the road was closed for the movement of vehicles.
Officials said that on Tuesday morning, the Mechanical Engineering Department started snow clearance work at the affected stretch, which was completed after a few hours.
Traffic was restored on the road late Tuesday morning, officials said.
