There is no question of replacing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Minister K.H. Muniyappa said in Belagavi on Wednesday.
There is neither a plan nor a proposal for change of leadership. In fact, there is no question of changing the Chief Minister in the State, he said.
“Mr. Siddaramaiah is leading the government in a pro-people manner. His governance is good. He has successfully implemented the five guarantees. We are confident that he will present a good budget in the coming days. He will complete his full-term,” Mr. Muniyappa said.
“Issues like change in leadership of the government are decided by the party high command. But there are no such issues as of now,” he added.
To a query, he said that he has no information about the plans of some legislators to go to New Delhi to meet the party high command.
He said that the Chief Minister has released funds to set up automated weighing scales in all sugar factories to reduce chances of wilfull under-weighing of sugarcane by factories.
The Agriculture Produce Marketing Cooperative societies will set up these scales, he said.
He was in Belagavi to inaugurate a new Consumer Court building.
