HYDERABAD: The Telangana state police on Thursday launched a technology-driven initiative to strengthen public-police relationships through feedback mechanisms.

DGP Jitender unveiled the QR code-based feedback collection system virtually for police stations and offices across state. At Cyberabad, commissioner of police Avinash Mohanty and joint CP D. Joel Davis, along with senior officers from different wings of Cyberabad, attended the event virtually.

This initiative enables citizens to easily share their experiences with various police services and also covers crucial touchpoints such as petition submissions, FIR registrations, traffic violation e-Challans, and passport verification services.

Citizens can provide feedback by scanning QR codes displayed at police facilities or through calls from citizen feedback call centre, managed by the Centre of Excellence-CID.

Citizens and even officials can also submit suggestions on coefvts@gmail.com to ensure improvement.
