Srinagar, April 05: A 19-year-old boy was found hanging by a tree branch in Kotranka Rajouri, an official said on Saturday morning.
The official said that on intervening night between Friday and Saturday, Shafqat Ali, son of Mohammad Din, resident of Ponda Naka (Peeri), Kotranka was found hanging by an oak tree branch.
“The local police was informed, who arrived at the scene and have taken the body into its possession,” the official said.
Confirming it, a police official said that they have initiated medico-legal formalities to investigate the body under such circumstances. (KB)
