Tara Sutaria’s culinary updates often lure us to her Instagram timeline. Off late, she seems to be on a mission to take fans on visually grand gastronomical expeditions. Nearly two weeks after Christmas, the actress has finally shared a peek into her sumptuous festive feast. In a video posted on Instagram, Tara can be seen making delicious “Christmas pudding from scratch”. PS: The traditional dessert has been a part of her family tradition for four decades! In the clip, Tara puts on her chef’s hat as she prepares the pudding. Oranges and peaches are kept inside a basket on a table beside her. Cutting to the chase, the chocolate drizzle on the dome-shaped pastry left us drooling for real.

Tara Sutaria’s caption read, “Christmas pudding from scratch!!! A messy but fun affair. Tons of fruit, wine, nuts, bread crumbs, rum and beer go into making a traditional pudding what it must be! Apart from cooking (two) turkeys and all the trimmings on December 25, this has been our family’s Christmas tradition for over forty years now. Here’s a little snippet of me and the stages of getting our pudding ready to set ablaze! PS – Wearing Christmas pajamas all year round, I don’t care.”
Last month, Tara Sutaria hosted a lavish dinner party for her close friends. And oh boy, from the garden setting to the exotic menu — everything was as “dreamy” as it could get. Her side note read, “Quick trips, friends, food and laughter. Putting together a dreamy garden dinner party for my favourite people.” The wonderful dishes displayed on the “sweet tablescape” were: Bangda cutlets, spicy lemon chonak, Kimchi grilled cheese sandwiches, baked crab (Tara called it the best from the lot) and salmon tartare. Phew!
