Kupwara, Feb 28: A viral video of a female student from Regipora area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district has brought attention to the pathetic condition of roads in her locality. The student, who recently returned to her locality after completing her board exams, was shocked to find the lane leading to her home submerged in water.
In the video, the student can be heard saying, “How am I supposed to reach my home as the road is completely submerged”.
“If any medical emergency arises in our locality, how can patients reach the hospital given the pathetic condition of the road of our locality,” she said.
The student’s video appeal to the Kupwara administration has raised concern, with netizens calling for immediate action to repair the road, with an aim to ensure the well-being and safety of the community. Meanwhile, locals of the area have also urged administration to take immediate action and address the issues.
