St. Soldier Group of Institutions offer 50% scholarship for general students under JKSS, 100% for SC, ST under PMS

Srinagar, July 15: St. Soldier Group of Institutions on Tuesday offered 50 percent scholarship for general category students and 100 percent for scheduled cast and scheduled tribe category students under JKSS and PMS respectively.

Managing Director Prof. Manhar Arora of north India’s leading educational group St. Soldier Group of Institutions, Jalandhar Punjab while speaking to media announced 50% scholarships to the students of Jammu and Kashmir. He said we have given this scholarship name as Jammu & Kashmir Student Scholarship (JKSS). He added that according to Chairman of Group Anil Chopra and Vice Chairperson Smt. Sangeeta Chopra they had given special permission to reduce academic fee up to 50% for first and to continue further years based on their performance to the students of Jammu and Kashmir who wish to study in the colleges of St. Soldier Group of Institutions.

While replying the question that what would be the criteria to avail JKSS, Manhar Arora mentioned that student must be domicile of Jammu and Kashmir and must be eligible for the course in which he/she likes to take admission like Engineering, Management, Paramedical, Polytechnic, Hotel Management, Physiotherapy, Computer Sciences, Nursing, Mass Communication and Journalism etc.

He said there will be no fee charged from the students belongs to SC and ST category. They can study free at St. Soldier Group of Institutions. They shall be given 100% scholarships for the courses they are interested in.
