Srinagar-Jammu highway reopens after repair work

Ramban, June 16: The Srinagar- Jammu National Highway re-opened for two-way traffic of light medium passenger vehicles and one-way traffic of heavy vehicles on Sunday.

Traffic authorities said the National Highway was re-opened after remaining closed for around eight hours for scheduled road repair works between Nashri and Banihal.

They said hundreds of light medium passenger vehicles plied on either side of the National Highway on Sunday. They said heavy vehicles released from Jakhani, Udhampur are heading towards Kashmir.
