Jammu, Dec 9: Prime Minister Narendra is likely to inaugurate the grand finale of “Smart India Hackathon 2024” virtually across India, to be hosted by IIT Jammu on December 11 and 12.
This was announced by the Director IIT Jammu Prof Manoj Singh Gaur in a press conference on Monday.
“IIT Jammu, for the first time, is hosting a Hackathon grand finale (software edition) wherein 30 teams comprising 250 students and their mentors will generate problems and find their solutions in real-time. The new age is of innovation, entrepreneurship and having the courage to break new grounds,” Prof Gaur said.
He stated, “Hackathon is a flagship (annual) event, which expands in size, vision and innovation. This time we are solving rather than addressing software themes and critical infrastructure production. Teams will battle it out to solve critical cyber security challenges for NCIIPC through 36-hour long interactions and evaluations.”
