After setting the internet ablaze with a viral photo featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, and YouTube sensation MrBeast, the three icons of Indian cinema came together once again, this time on stage. The trio participated in a panel discussion titled East to West: The Global Rise of Bollywood at the Joy Forum in Saudi Arabia.

During the conversation, which touched on the growing cultural and entertainment landscape in Saudi Arabia, one particular topic captured everyone’s attention, whether the three Khans would ever share the screen in a film together. Speaking about the possibility, Shah Rukh Khan said: “I have to say, if the three of us are in a project together, it would be a dream in itself. Hopefully not a nightmare! It will be a dream if the three of us come together. And Inn Sha Allah, whenever we get an opportunity and a story, we’re always sitting and talking about it.”
He went on to add, “I look up to these two guys. Genuinely, I do, because they’ve been working in the industry for so long. So yes, I truly look up to them because of the kind of ups and downs they’ve faced, and the body of work they’ve built, starting from scratch and working their way up to where they are today. These people are both aspirational and inspirational. And somewhere, I feel genuinely thankful that I have the opportunity to sit on the same forum, the same stage, in the same house, and chat with them. So if we ever get to come together for a film, which we’ve discussed many times, we just need to make sure it doesn’t let anyone down.”
Listening to Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan jumped in with his trademark humor, saying: “So Shah Rukh has this one thing, he keeps saying it over and over again, and I want him to say it here. Try and say it here. That nobody can afford the three of us in a film together. Say it!” To this, Shah Rukh laughed and replied: “I don’t want to say it in Saudi because anybody will get up and say ‘habibi, done!’ No, we joke about this. But affordability is not the money, it’s about the kind of timings we follow for work. We are very hardworking, we do come on time, but we have our own eccentricities, we’ve been working for so long now. Can anyone afford those eccentricities? You know, I have to tell you, when we are working together we are always laughing and joking, and I’m sure any director, producer, and writer will be like, ‘Can you start working now, guys, please?’ So there is a lot of goodness we three share, and there is a lot of goodness with which we need to tell a story with. So one fine day we will be in a place where somebody takes on all the eccentricities and says, ‘Come on, have a good time, Inn Sha Allah.’”
Responding to this, Salman added: “And when we three work together, the hero, the star of the project is not going to be Shah Rukh, Aamir, or me, it’s going to be the script.” Agreeing with him, Aamir said: “I think emotionally we all three are ready to do a film together. It’s just a matter of coming across the right script. So hopefully, and as Salman said, it’s going to be the script that’s going to be the most important for the three of us.”
On the work front, Aamir Khan was last seen in Sitaare Zameen Par and is currently gearing up for a biopic on Dadasaheb Phalke, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Salman Khan is shooting for Battle of Galwan, while Shah Rukh Khan is busy with his next project King, directed by Siddharth Anand.
