Hyderabad, April 28: The Telangana government has appointed Santhi Kumari, IAS (Retd.), as the Vice Chairperson of Dr MCR Human Resource Development Institute, following her superannuation on April 30, 2025.
According to an official order issued by the government, her terms and conditions of appointment will be notified separately. In the exigency of administration, Santhi Kumari has also been entrusted with full additional charge of the post of Director General of Dr MCR HRD Institute until further orders.
Santhi Kumari, a 1989-batch IAS officer, recently retired after serving as the Chief Secretary to the Telangana government.
Meanwhile, Dr Shashank Goel, IAS (1990), the outgoing Director General of Dr MCR HRD Institute, has been appointed as Vice Chairman of the Centre for Good Governance. He has also been assigned full additional charge as Director General of the Environment Protection Training and Research Institute (EPTRI).
