Poonch, Oct 20: A rusted high explosive mortar shell was on Sunday evening found in Gohlad village of Mendhar sub division after which forces have taken up necessary process for destruction of this shell.
The shell, rusted but live in nature, was found lying in grass bushes in the village and noticed by villagers who informed forces that rushed to the spot and cordoned the area.
It was later seized at the site and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) has been called in to destroy the mortar shell at the site through a controlled mechanism.
