Speaking fondly of the actor, he said, “RK made me feel so comfortable. He would say, ‘Sir, beautiful shot yaar.’ I loved it. When someone encourages you like that… He even said, ‘Sir, aap lagte nahi ho yaar, where do you work out?’ I told him, ‘Boss, thank you, thank you RK. Look at you and look at me.’ And he replied, ‘No sir, aapki age tak pata nahi mera kya hone wala hai (Don’t know what will happen to me at your age).’ That’s life. But he was so pure at heart—no filters, no layers.”

Ajinkya Deo went on to praise Ranbir Kapoor’s authenticity: “He is what he is. And that’s what works for him on screen. There’s an immediate, direct connect with the audience. Earlier stars had those invisible screens between them and viewers—that was the style then. But today, it’s no filter yaar.”

Last year, Ajinkya had briefly shared a selfie with Ranbir, captioning it: “So now for the clarification on this photo… excited to be doing a stellar role in the film Ramayan, a magnum opus with RK. It’s been a wonderful year and a half as I shared the screen first with Neetu Singh Kapoor ma’am, then with Karisma Kapoor for a web series, and now with Ranbir Kapoor.”

“He doesn’t have any tantrums despite knowing he’s such a big star. He has no hang-ups. He is my favourite actor,” Mishra added.

Meanwhile, Ranbir’s Ramayan co-star Ravi Dubey told Ranveer Allahbadia on his podcast, “Ranbir has an incredible aura. He’s quiet, graceful, and deeply committed. He carries a very soft energy — and I think that’s something everyone who meets him would feel.”

Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, Yash as Ravana, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. The epic will release in two parts, with the first slated to hit theatres during Diwali 2026. The film is co-produced by Yash and Namit Malhotra.
