JAIPUR: Within a month of the successful organization of ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024, the Rajasthan government has started giving a new direction to the industrial development of the state. Under this, focus is being laid on setting up logistics hubs, new industrial nodes and multi-modal logistics parks and for this, suitable land plots present within the state are being identified so that the ‘Ease of Doing Business’ can be improved and investors do not have to face difficulties. A team of senior officials led by Principal Secretary of Industries Department, Ajitabh Sharma and Managing Director (MD) of RIICO, Indrajit Singh, visited industrial plots around Jaipur on Monday with the aim of identifying strategic locations for these projects.
With this project, Rajasthan’s industrial development will get a new direction, the officials said, adding that the state government is identifying suitable locations to develop logistics hubs and new industrial nodes in the state.

State government is identifying about 200-250 hectares of land for the development of new logistics parks and industrial areas near Jaipur.
The ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 9. During this investment summit organized under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, record investment proposals (MoUs) worth ₹35 lakh crore have been signed. During this, Chief Minister Sharma also announced that the government will make dedicated efforts to bring the signed MoUs on the ground and will share the progress related to it after a year.
