Rajasthan will organise sectoral sessions during the first ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Divas’ on 10 December 2025, at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre. The event aims to engage non-residents of Rajasthan (NRRs) in discussions and collaborations across key sectors including industry, education, tourism, health, and water, along with an exclusive NRR Roundtable.

The initiative seeks to strengthen the state’s connection with its global diaspora and encourage their participation in Rajasthan’s economic and social development. The sessions will bring together policymakers, experts, entrepreneurs, and professionals of Rajasthani origin living across India and abroad to share insights, explore partnerships, and identify investment opportunities.

The industry session will focus on ways to enhance Rajasthan’s industrial ecosystem, competitiveness, and ease of doing business. Discussions will include emerging areas such as renewable energy, manufacturing, startups, and logistics. The objective is to promote innovation and attract new investment by engaging NRRs who have experience and networks in global markets.

The tourism session will highlight potential for heritage, cultural, and eco-tourism growth in the state. Specific attention will be given to regions such as Shekhawati, known for its heritage havelis, along with strategies to diversify tourism offerings and improve infrastructure.

The education session will discuss digital learning, skill training, and higher education collaboration. It will look at possible tie-ups with overseas institutions and explore how NRRs can contribute through mentorship, knowledge exchange, or institutional linkages.

The health session will address healthcare infrastructure, medical education, and technology integration. Participants will examine opportunities for investment in hospitals, telemedicine, and medical devices, as well as areas for public-private collaboration.

In the water session, experts will discuss sustainable water resource management, rejuvenation of traditional water structures, and key projects such as the Ramjal Setu Link Project. The focus will be on ensuring long-term water security through innovation and community involvement.

An NRR Roundtable will also be organized to connect participants with government representatives and explore initiatives in investment, philanthropy, and community development.

Through these sessions, the government aims to build a structured platform for engagement with non-residents of Rajasthan, enabling them to contribute to the state’s growth in a meaningful and collaborative manner.
