The Rajasthan government has introduced and expanded several welfare programmes focused on healthcare, social security, and livelihood support for women, farmers, laborers, and low-income families.
The state’s Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana aims to provide affordable treatment for serious illnesses. This includes 73 daycare packages for cancer treatment, 419 pediatric packages for infants, and cashless treatment for about eight lakh senior citizens.
Under the Ma Voucher Yojana, 25,000 pregnant women receive free sonography services each month at 1,363 authorised private centers, with more than 2.48 lakh women issued QR code-based coupons so far.
The Lado Protsahan Yojana provides a ₹1.5 lakh savings bond for each girl child born in economically weaker families. About 4.18 lakh girls have received the first installment under this programme. The Mukhyamantri Rasoee Gas Subsidy Yojana offers LPG cylinders at ₹450 to 67.97 lakh families under the National Food Security Scheme. Since September 2024, ₹558 crore in subsidy payments has been made.
The Shri Annapurna Rasoi initiative has added millets such as bajra and jowar to meal menus. The meal plate weight has increased from 450 grams to 600 grams, and the state subsidy has been raised from ₹17 to ₹22 per plate. A total of 4.30 crore meals have been served in rural areas and 8.87 crore in urban areas.
Under the Mukhyamantri Vishwakarma Pension Yojana, unorganized workers, street vendors, and folk artists above 60 years of age receive a monthly pension of ₹3,000.
Through the PM SVANidhi Scheme, 1.89 lakh beneficiaries have received loans — 49,420 received a second loan and 5,468 received a third loan. The Mukhyamantri Swanidhi Yojana has provided benefits to 1,271 unorganized workers, while the Mukhyamantri Shahri Rojgar Guarantee Yojana has offered employment to 5 lakh families with an expenditure of ₹343 crore.
The Mukhyamantri Ghumantu Awas Yojana, launched in October 2024, provides housing for denotified tribes. Under the Namaste Yojana, 2,967 sanitation workers have received self-employment training.
Pension schemes have been digitised, allowing paperless applications and payments. The pension amount for elderly citizens, widows, single women, persons with disabilities, and small farmers has been increased to ₹1,250 per month.
In education, about 2.04 lakh students were newly admitted under the RTE Act for the 2024–25 academic session, with ₹968 crore reimbursed to private schools.
