Protests unabated against JPDCL in Kathua

There were back-to-back protests against JPDCL in Kathua due to inconsistent power supply. Yesterday, people of Kharote village protested against the non-availability of power. Today, residents of Chan Rorian and Barnoti also protested against the power issues. All of them mentioned that while uninterrupted power is being provided to industries, domestic consumers are bearing the brunt. In Barnoti, they even blocked the NH for some time.
