Srinagar, Nov 10: A policeman died after his car met with an accident near Sadhna Top area of Kupwara district on Sunday.
Quoting an official, the news agency NVI reported that a cop was traveling from Police Post Taad, Karnah, towards Kupwara in an Alto car bearing registration number JK09B-2325, when it met with an accident and head constable died on spot.
He has been identified as Gh Rasool, a resident of Chanjmulla Handwara.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance and started investigation.
