Poonch, Jun 5: An armed police personnel lost his life in a road mishap that happened on Mughal Road at Dugriyan in Surankote sub division in Poonch district.
The accident, officials said, took place when a car fell in a roadside gorge at Dugriyan between Bufliyaz and Pir Ki Gali on Mughal Road on Wednesday late evening.
The driver, identified as Ruksar Ahmed Khan, resident of Mendhar got critically injured in the accident who was evacuated to local civil hospital but was declared brought dead. Last rites and burial of the deceased cop was performed in his native village on Thursday evening.
