Sopore, Dec 18: Police in Sopore on Wednesday affixed proclamation orders to the residences of 10 absconding individuals in the Zaingeer belt of Sopore instructing them to appear in court within 30 days or face attachment of their properties.
The order identifies these persons as Lateef Ahmad War, son of Mukhtar War; Ashiq Hussain War, son of Ali Muhammad War; and Afroz Ahmad War, son of Muhammad Maqbool War, all residents of Warpora, Sopore; Yousuf Lone, son of Sonawallah Lone of Botingoo; Bashir Ahmad Mir, son of Subhan Mir of Harwan; Irshad Ahmad Reshi, son of Ali Muhammad Reshi of Yambalzawari; Ghulam Nabi Sheikh, son of Abdul Gani Sheikh of Krankshivun, Sopore; Javid Ahmad Dobhi, son of Ghulam Nabi Dobhi of Zaloora; Maqbool Ahmad War, son of Sonawallah War of Warpora; and Farooq Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Ahad Bhat of Zaloora.
They have been ordered to report to the magistrate court within 30 days.
If they fail to do so, their properties will be seized, the order reads.
