Pole, Bidhuri among 27 IAS, IPS officers transferred to and from J&K, Ladakh

Jammu, May 16: J&K Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Pandurang K Pole and the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri were among 27 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) officers of AGMUT cadre who were transferred to and from Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday.

They were among 66 officers (40 IAS and 26 IPS officers) of AGMUT cadre, who were transferred and posted by the MHA, with immediate effect and until further orders.

Both Pole and Bidhuri, senior IAS officers of 2004 and 2005 batch, as per MHA order, have been transferred to Delhi.

Meanwhile, through a separate order MHA, partially modifying its earlier order dated October 17, 2024, cancelled the transfers in respect of two senior IAS officers of AGMUT (erstwhile J&K cadre) Saugat Biswas of 2006 batch from Arunachal Pradesh to Jammu and Kashmir and Yasha Mudgal of 2007 batch from J&K to Puducherry.

Besides Pole and Bidhuri, from J&K, senior IAS officers Sanjiv M Gadkar and Shakeel-Ul Rehman Rather, both from the 2013 batch, have been transferred to Goa; Pardeep Kumar and Rahul Sharma, both also from the 2013 batch, have been transferred to Chandigarh and Ladakh.

Senior IAS officer Choudhary Mohammad Yasin of 2015 batch has been transferred to Puducherry; Nitish Rajora, who is presently J&K Director Information and Rakesh Kumar, both from 2021 batch, have been transferred to Ladakh.

From Ladakh, IAS officer of 2013 batch, Yetindra M Maralkar has been transferred to Goa; Shrikant Balasaheb Suse of 2016 batch has been transferred to J&K; Santosh G Sukhadeve of 2017 batch has been transferred to Goa.

Among IPS officers from J&K, Umesh Kumar of 2009 batch; Sanjeev Kumar Yadav of 2013 batch and Sandeep Gupta of 2015 batch have been transferred to Delhi.

IPS officers Sameer Sharma of 2011 batch from Lakshadweep and Rishi Kumar of 2021 batch from Delhi have been transferred to J&K.

Senior IAS officers Ashish Chandra Verma of 1994 batch; Anil Kumar Singh of 1995 batch; Naveen S L of 2012 batch; Shreya Singhal of 2020 batch; Mahima Madan and Ananth Dwivedi both from 2021 batch have been transferred to J&K from Delhi.
