Paras Defence secures ₹35.68 crore orders from Defence Ministry for counter-drone systems, ETGovernment

Paras Defence said demand for domestic counter-UAV systems is expanding as drone-related risks evolve, including reconnaissance, smuggling and airspace intrusion.

Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd. has received two orders worth ₹35.68 crore from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Portable Counter-Drone Systems. The contract is scheduled for execution by May 2026.

Its subsidiary, Paras Anti-Drone Technologies Pvt. Ltd., has also received an MoD order valued at ₹3.95 crore (including GST) for Radio Frequency jammers, which integrate drone detection and jamming functions. This order is also expected to be completed by May 2026.

Ltd. “These consecutive orders, marking our second and third engagements with the Ministry within just two months, reflect the growing confidence placed in our indigenous capabilities and our commitment to strengthening India’s defence preparedness.

The company and its subsidiary design systems that detect, classify, track and neutralise unmanned aerial threats for the armed forces and strategic locations.
