Ramban, April 14: At least one person died on the spot and nine others were injured as Tata Mobile collided with bridge in the Banihal area of Ramban district on Monday.
As per an official, “the accident occurred at around 4 am last night when a Tata Mobile, carrying eleven passengers of two Bakarwal families of Tehsil Teryath, was on way from Rajouri to Srinagar met an accident near railway bridge at Banihal.”
The official added that after providing first Aid at SDH Banihal all injured were referred to GMC Anantnag for further treatment.
Police have taken note of the incident and are investigating.
