Srinagar, Oct 20: The former chief minister of J&K Mehbooba Mufti and MLA Kangan Mian Mehar Ali strongly condemned the killings of migrant workers in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal.
The leaders expressed their condolences with bereaved families and prayed for speedy recovery of the injured.
The former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti in a post on X said: “Unequivocally condemn this senseless act of violence against two labourers in Ganderbal. Deepest condolences to their families”.
Meanwhile NC leader and MLA Kangan Mian Mehar Ali termed the incident “heartbreaking”.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) he said: “The brutal killing of non-local laborers at the Z-Morh tunnel in Gangangeer, is heartbreaking. My thoughts are with their families during this tragic time. Prayers for speedy recovery of injured”.
