Mayank Verma, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the Company has resigned from the position of the Company Secretary & Compliance Officer of the Company and shall be relieved from his services with effect from April 14, 2025.
“I, Mayank Verma, hereby submit my resignation from the position of Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of Biocon Limited, with effect from the close of business hours on April 14, 2025, to pursue opportunities outside the Biocon Group,” he said in his resignation letter.
He is a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
He has over 19 years of experience in secretarial and listing compliances, corporate governance, statutory compliances, corporate laws, and allied compliances/laws. He has been associated with the Biocon Group since 2012.
He was formerly, the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of Syngene International Limited, a research arm of the Company. He successfully got Syngene listed on the Indian stock exchanges (NSE and BSE) during his tenure.
Before joining the Biocon Group, he worked with ING Vysya Bank Limited from 2007 to 2012.
