Rajouri, Dec 11: A man working as a tractor driver was injured in a gunfire incident in the Sanjiote area of Poonch district of the Pir Panjal region.
Officials said that the firing happened at Sanjiote in Poonch when an area domination patrol was on the move and an “accidental gunfire” incident took place.
“A man identified as Muhammad Saleem received an injury in his foot and was immediately taken to a nearby health aid centre. He was later referred to GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri,” the official said.
He said that the injured man was under treatment and was stable.
