Jammu, Apr 2: Lieutenant General P K Mishra has taken over the command of Nagrota-based White Knight (16) Corps of the Indian Army.
A recipient of Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM), Yudh Seva Medal (YSM) and Seva Medal (SM), Lt Gen Mishra has succeeded Lieutenant General Navin Sachdeva, AVSM and SM.
Lt Gen Sachdeva had been heading the 16 Corps since January 1, 2024.
After taking over the command on Tuesday (April 1, 2025), Lt Gen Mishra exhorted all ranks to uphold highest standards of operational excellence.
“Lt Gen P K Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM took over the command of @Whiteknight_IA from Lt Gen Navin Sachdeva, AVSM, SM. The Corps Commander urged all ranks to uphold the highest standards of operational excellence & continue fostering peace and stability in the region,” PRO Defence Jammu wrote on ‘X’.
