KVK Jammu’s training boosts dairy farming

Srinagar, Aug 06: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Jammu, a constituent of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J), conducted a training programme on the Scientific Management of Dairy Animals at village Bhadyal Qazian in the Suchetgarh block of Jammu district.

The event saw active participation from farmers, women farmers, and rural youths of the area.

The programme, led by Vice Chancellor Prof B N Tripathi, under the guidance of Director Extension Prof Amrish Vaid and Chief Scientist and Head of KVK Jammu, Puneet Choudhary and aimed to educate attendees on making dairy farming a profitable enterprise through scientific methods.
