He holds an LL.B from Government Law College, Mumbai, and an LL.M from Georgetown University Law Center, Washington D.C. He has also been admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales.
Before joining Netflix, he was the Managing Partner at Desai & Partners, a Mumbai-based law firm founded in April 2007. Desai & Partners specializes in Media & Entertainment, Intellectual Property, and Sports. The firm was previously known as KAD Legal.
The firm advised celebrities, sports personalities, and production houses. His expertise spans intellectual property, licensing, regulatory compliance, and commercial negotiations.
