Akshay Kumar, Ananya Panday and R Madhavan’s Kesari: Chapter 2 is set to hit theatres on April 18. Ahead of its release, the makers arranged a special screening on Thursday. Besides the main star cast, several celebrities, including Suhana Khan, Kajol, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Orry, Vicky Kaushal, Tiger Shroff, Rasha Thadani, Harshvardhan Rane, Sharvari Wagh, Twinkle Khanna, Aparshakti Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar, and Karan Johar, among others, graced the screening.

Kesari Chapter 2 star Akshay Kumar attended the event with his wife Twinkle Khanna. Ananya Panday posed for the paparazzi alongside Kajol, both dressed in traditional outfits. Additionally, the Kho Gaye Hum Kahan actor’s close friends, Orry and Suhana Khan, were also present at the screening to cheer her on.

Kesari 2 is a spiritual sequel to Akshay Kumar’s 2019 hit film Kesari. The movie is an adaptation of the book The Case That Shook The Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat. Set against the backdrop of the aftermath of the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre, the movie is directed by debutant Karan Singh Tyagi and produced by Dharma Productions. The film has already collected Rs 2.06 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
