Jammu, June 12: Director General of Police (DGP) R R Swain Wednesday stated that the situation in Jammu, twice the size of the (Kashmir) valley, was certainly a different challenge, on several accounts, including its geographical features.
While speaking to a digital platform regarding spate of terror attacks, DGP said, “The tactics of the enemy were absolutely clear. It was essentially to communalise the situation because Jammu has a composite culture.”
But the entire security-set up had resolved to crush terrorists and their entire terror eco-system with an iron hand, he said.
