Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and elected to field during the IPL 2025 match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Chennai on Friday (March 28, 2025).
Chennai Super Kings brought in Matheesha Pathirana in place of Nathan Ellis while Bhuvneshwar Kumar is in the playing XI for Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
Stamped as a ‘southern derby’, Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be expected to lift their game and win it in Chennai. The Bengaluru team has not won any game against Chennai Super Kings in Chennai after their only win in 2008.
