India vs Australia LIVE Updates, 3rd Test Day 2: Although rain is on the cards on Day 2, more action is expected to take place in the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia at The Gabba in Brisbane. Only 13.2 overs of play were possible on Day 1 after Rohit Sharma had put Australia in to bat. India could not pick any Australian wickets in that spell, who batted and blocked out the duration with a cautious defensive approach. Usman Khawaja picked up three boundaries en route to 19*, while Nathan McSweeney is only on 4. India’s pace attack is expected to play a big role amid the damp and overcast conditions. The Sun has started to show its mercy at The Gabba in Brisbane this morning and we could have a timely start if the conditions stay the same. The cloud cover at the venue, however, does scare everyone. But, at least the start of the game could be timely.
The sun’s been an absolute tease this morning, playing hard to get amidst the concerning cloud cover that remains over the Gabba. The forecasts are confusing but things looking good for a timely start to Day 2 #AusvInd pic.twitter.com/BPvmR26jSF
