Aekom Legal has advised Amber Enterprises India and its material subsidiary IL JIN Electronics India on their INR 1,750 crore fundraise led by ChrysCapital, along with participation from InCred, Singularity Equity Fund, Axis New Opportunities AIF, Nuvama Crossover Opportunities Fund, Avendus Future Leaders Fund.
ChrysCapital was advised by Quillon Partners on this transaction. AZB & Partners acted for InCred, Aequitas Law Partners advised Singularity Growth Opportunities Fund, Stratage Partners represented Nuvama Crossover Opportunities Fund, Quillon Partners acted for Axis New Opportunities AIF while JSA advised Avendus Future Leaders Fund.
ChrysCapital led the round with an expected investment of about INR 1,100 crore, followed by Singularity Growth Opportunities Fund which invested INR 100 crore, InCred Growth and InCred Wealth together investing INR 120 crore, Avendus Future Leaders Fund which invested INR 140 crore, Nuvama Crossover Opportunities Fund investing INR 50 crore, and Axis New Opportunities AIF investing INR 100 crore.
The investment will be made through a mix of equity shares and compulsory convertible preference shares.
The capital raised by IL JIN will help accelerate its growth plans across the electronics segment, expand manufacturing capabilities, and pursue strategic acquisitions to strengthen its market position in India’s fast-evolving electronic ecosystem.
ILJIN Electronics India, a subsidiary and electronics division of Amber Group, specialises in manufacturing bare printed circuit boards (PCB) and PCB assembly for industries such as consumer durables, automotive, telecom, healthcare, renewable energy, aerospace, defense among others.
