Srinagar, Jul 11: A delegation from the Core Group of Industrial Estate (IE) Pampore, led by its President Khalid S. Wani, met the Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today to press for redressal of the long-pending issue regarding land possession for 128 entrepreneurs.
The delegation highlighted that despite lease deeds being executed and full payments made nearly three years ago, the land has yet to be handed over, causing uncertainty and hampering industrial development in the area.
The Deputy Chief Minister, who also holds the Industries & Commerce portfolio, gave the delegation a patient hearing and acknowledged the genuineness of their concern. He informed them that the file related to the matter is already in his office and assured that the issue is being treated as a priority and will be resolved soon based on its merits.
The Core Group welcomed the Minister’s assurance and expressed hope for swift action. They reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the region’s industrial growth and called for continued engagement to resolve investor-related challenges.
