Jammu, Nov 7: The High Court of J&K and Ladakh at Jammu Friday listed the habeas corpus petition of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Mehraj Malik for final consideration on November 20, 2025.
Earlier when the petition of AAP MLA was listed before Justice Rajneesh Oswal of the High Court of J&K and Ladakh and the matter was taken up for hearing, senior advocate Rahul Pant joined by advocates S S Ahmed, Appu Singh Slathia, M Tariq Mughal and M Zulkarnain Chowdhary submitted that the reply was not filed by the government till date.
Senior counsel advocate Sunil Sethi with senior AAG Monika Kohli, appearing for the government, submitted that they filed their replies on November 6 but due to the defect in the affidavit, the same was not on record.
In the open court, the counsels for the respondent served the copies of the reply to the counsels of the petitioner.
