Jammu, Feb 24: Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi today addressed a meeting of imams and khateebs of the board in Jammu.
According to a press release, the congregation was organised in connection with the Ramadhan month. Prominent Imams and Khateebs of Jammu were present in the conclave.
Detailed deliberations about special prayers and Ramadhan arrangements were held during the meeting. Waqf Board officers were also part of the meeting. She appealed to the religious preachers to desist from the sectarian remarks and focus on the religious spiritual teachings and the importance of Ramadhan during the regular addresses and interactive speeches in Mosques and shrines.
