Diwali 2025: Top deals on Samsung Galaxy smartphones starting from Rs 7,999 | Technology News

Samsung may not enjoy the dominant position it once held in the Indian market, but the South Korean tech giant did step up its game this year by offering four or more years of OS updates for most of its new Galaxy smartphones. If you want to buy a new Samsung phone that can easily last a couple of years, here are some of the best deals you can get this Diwali across multiple price segments.

Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy F06, its first budget 5G phone in India under Rs 10,000. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, the phone comes with 12 5G bands and even supports Carrier Aggregation, a feature that is usually found on devices that cost twice as much.

The Galaxy F06 has a huge 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD screen and comes with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card. The device runs on One UI 7 based on Android 15 out of the box, with Samsung promising 4 years of OS updates and security patches.

All of this is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging, one of the fastest in the segment. If you are looking to buy a secondary phone or don’t want to spend much, this is an easy recommendation. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of the phone is currently selling on Flipkart for Rs 7,999, but we recommend you purchase the 6GB RAM version, as it costs Rs 1,000 more.

Galaxy F36

A few months ago, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy F36, another budget-friendly phone that ticks almost all the right boxes. Featuring the Exynos 1380 chipset, it has a 6.7-inch 120Hz sAMOLED screen protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+.

The device runs on One UI 7 based on Android 15 out of the box and will receive 6 years of OS updates, something no other smartphone manufacturer promises in the budget segment. Like its A-series counterpart, you get a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro sensor along with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging.

This isn’t the best camera or performance phone, but if you want a phone under Rs 15,000, the Galaxy F36 is an easy recommendation. The base variant of the phone that comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is currently available on Flipkart for Rs 13,999

Galaxy A35

Looking for a mid-range Samsung phone that can take decent photos and comes with a myriad of AI features? The Galaxy A35 (review) might be the phone for you. Powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset, the Galaxy A35 looks like Samsung’s Galaxy S series devices and comes with a 6.6-inch 120Hz sAMOLED screen. You also get 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, but unlike the Galaxy F06, you won’t get a microSD card slot.

The IP67-rated phone offers both dust and water resistance and runs on One UI 6 based on Android 14, with Samsung promising 4 years of OS updates. On the back, you get a triple camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary shooter in addition to an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 5MP macro camera. Like its pocket-friendly cousin, you get a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging support.

If you are looking for a balanced smartphone that can easily last you for years to come, the Galaxy A35 is a good buy for Rs 17,999.

Galaxy S24 FE

Samsung’s Fan Edition (FE) series phones are known for offering flagship-like features, and the Galaxy S24 FE is no exception. Launched last year, it is powered by the Exynos 2400e chipset and sports a 6.7-inch 120Hz sAMOLED screen.

The device comes with One UI 6 based on Android 14, but, like recently launched Galaxy S series devices, Samsung is offering 7 years of OS updates and security patches.

It has a 50MP main camera, an 8MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom and a 12MP ultrawide shooter. All of these cameras are quite good and take good photos under both great and poor lighting conditions. Another perk is that apart from 25W wired charging, you also get support for 15W wireless and reverse wireless charging.

For Rs 30,999, the Galaxy S24 FE is undoubtedly one of the best phones you can buy right now. The only downsides are that the 4,700mAh battery may not be enough for heavy users, and the Exynos 2400e fails to live up to other phones in the same price bracket.

Galaxy S24

Want a proper flagship with the premium tag? The Snapdragon version of the Galaxy S24 is currently selling on Flipkart for Rs 39,999. Featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the Galaxy S24 is a compact smartphone with a 6.2-inch 120Hz sAMOLED screen that gets really bright even under direct sunlight.

The IP68 dust and water-resistant phone comes with One UI 6 based on Android 14, with Samsung offering 7 years of OS updates and security patches. In terms of optics, it has a 50MP main sensor, a 10MP telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom and another 12MP ultrawide lens.

However, it has a comparatively small 4,000mAh battery, which may not be sufficient for heavy users. But if you can look past the battery and want a proper flagship phone at almost half the price, the Galaxy S24 is the way to go.
