The Uttar Pradesh government’s Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) and CM Dashboard have emerged as national models of good governance. Impressed by the efficiency and advanced technical framework of UP’s grievance redressal and monitoring systems, the Delhi government has decided to adopt the IGRS and Dashboard model.
Delegations from across the country have visited Uttar Pradesh to study these systems, including a team from the Delhi government, which praised the model for its efficiency and transparency, the official press release stated.
The decision follows a comprehensive presentation made before Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta by the UP government in Delhi a few months ago, which was also attended by senior officials of the Delhi administration. The move aims to ensure prompt grievance redressal and real-time tracking of development projects in the national capital.
Subsequently, a team of Delhi government officials visited Lucknow for an in-depth, two-day assessment of both the administrative and technical aspects of the systems. The team recognized the model as technically sound, citizen-centric, and highly effective. Shortly after this visit, the Delhi government formally requested support from the Yogi government to implement the IGRS and CM Dashboard in Delhi.
It is worth mentioning that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the IGRS to provide a quick, transparent, and accountable mechanism for resolving public complaints. The CM Dashboard, on the other hand, serves as a real-time monitoring tool to track progress and ensure quality in development works across the state. Together, these platforms have strengthened governance delivery and become models for replication nationwide.
