Banihal, Feb 8: Senior National Conference (NC) leader and MLA Banihal Sajjad Shaheen has demanded a fair enquiry into an incident of electrocution at Bajalta in Jammu to ascertain the circumstances that led to the death of a young person and injuries to another.
In a statement, Shaheen said Tanveer Ahmed of Gangna Chaknarwah ,Banihal died and labourer Bahar Ahmed of Khari was critically while working with a company in Bajalta Jammu. “I visited the GMC Hospital, Jammu and met with the family members of the deceased and the other injured. I also spoke to the concerned authorities to conduct a fair enquiry to ascertain the circumstances that lead to the death of young person and injuring other,” he said.
The MLA stated that he spoke to Principal GMC Hospital and urged him to provide specialised treatment to the injured person. “I extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved family. May Allah grant him a highest place in Jannah. My prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured person,” Shaheen said.
