Rajasthan Chief Minister (CM) Bhajanlal Sharma met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday to discuss a range of development-related issues concerning Rajasthan.
During the meeting, the CM presented details of the state’s ongoing initiatives aimed at achieving the goals set under the Viksit Rajasthan 2047 vision document. He informed the Prime Minister about the government’s strategy to align Rajasthan’s development roadmap with the national objective of Viksit Bharat 2047. The discussion covered priority areas such as youth employment, women empowerment, agricultural growth, infrastructure improvement, and poverty reduction.
Sharma also outlined the state’s efforts to strengthen key sectors including education, health, renewable energy, and rural development. He said that the Viksit Rajasthan 2047 framework emphasises inclusive growth by integrating social and economic priorities to ensure balanced progress across districts.
The visit focused on reviewing the progress of major central and state-funded schemes and identifying future areas of collaboration to accelerate Rajasthan’s long-term development agenda.
