Veteran actor Chiranjeevi is reportedly in discussions with director Srikanth Odela for an upcoming project. Sources suggest that the film will be produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas, the banner behind the recent blockbuster Bhagavanth Kesari. However, further details about the project remain under wraps.

Currently, Chiranjeevi is busy filming Vishwambhara, directed by Mallidi Vassishta. Once he completes this project, he is expected to begin work on Srikanth Odela’s film.

In other news, Chiranjeevi was recently honoured with the prestigious ANR National Award during an event in Hyderabad commemorating the 100th birth anniversary of legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao. The award was presented by megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who delivered a heartfelt speech praising Chiranjeevi.

Big B expressed his admiration, stating, “I feel deeply honoured that you have chosen me to honour my dear friend and colleague Chiranjeevi. Whenever I call, he is always there. Thank you, Chiranjeevi and Nag, for giving me a part in your film, and thanks to Vyjayanthi Films and Nag Ashwin for including me in your project. I can now proudly say that I am a member of the Telugu film industry.”

He added with humour, “Thank you, Chiranjeevi, for your friendship, concern, love, affection, humility, and hospitality. You sent me so much lunch that I could have fed the entire hotel today. Please consider me a member of the Telugu film industry from now on.”

Chiranjeevi, visibly moved, bowed before Amitabh Bachchan as a mark of respect, touching his feet and seeking blessings while receiving the award.
