Jammu, Feb 19: BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital today launched its specialised Ortho Spine Surgery OPD services at Ujala Cygnus JK Medicity Hospital, bringing advanced orthopedic care closer to Jammu residents.
A statement said that Dr Puneet Girdhar, Principal Director & Head of Ortho Spine Surgery at BLK-Max Hospital, will conduct monthly OPD consultations on the second Wednesday from 11 am to 1 pm at the Jammu facility.
“From non-surgical management to minimally invasive surgical techniques, the OPD will offer a full spectrum of treatments for various ortho and spinal disorders,” Dr Girdhar said during the launch.
He emphasised that the initiative aims to reduce the need for patients to travel long distances for specialised care.

This collaboration marks a significant addition to Jammu’s healthcare infrastructure, offering residents access to specialized spine care at their doorstep.
Dr. Harmeet Singh Kapoor, Managing and Medical Director at Ujala Cygnus JK Medicity Hospital, welcomed the partnership, noting that it brings “one of the best Orthopedic and Spine Surgery Centres in the country” to Jammu. The facility will provide end-to-end services including consultations and investigations.
