The Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss Season 19 delivered another surprise this weekend as not one but two contestants were evicted from the house. Unfortunately, Nehal Chudasama and Baseer Ali’s journey on the show came to an end. While Nehal’s elimination was expected, Baseer’s exit came as a shock to many, given that he was considered one of the season’s strong contenders. This marked the second double elimination of the season.
Nehal had a bittersweet journey on the show and wasn’t particularly liked by her co-contestants. She was called out several times by host Salman. In fact, during the last Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman even told Amaal Mallik that Nehal had manipulated him in the game. Throughout her stint, Nehal was also accused of creating drama for the cameras and picking unnecessary fights with other contestants just to stay visible. This was her second inning on the show; two weeks ago, she had been evicted and sent to the secret room.
Right from day one, Baseer Ali emerged as one of the strongest contestants, often taking charge during tasks and shaping opinions in the house.
The reality show star also got massively trolled for the love angle he and Nehal Chudasama started last week. Earlier, talking about dealing with trolls, Baseer had said, “I have witnessed heavy trolling since the first show I did. I had not imagined that this would happen to me. People said I looked like a pine tree. Then, the channel called me and said that, since a lot of people were hating me, I should do a counter PR story. I was shocked to learn that all this also happens in this business. I have had my journey with haters and trolls, and now it doesn’t reach me.”
On the work front, Baseer Ali will reportedly be seen next in Naagin 7.
