Rajpura, Mar 28: Prof Roshan Lal Kataria, founder of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, near Chandigarh, and a visionary educator who passed at the age of 76 on Wednesday was cremated at Cremation Ground, Sec 25 Chandigarh, in the presence of many known educationists from Chandigarh and Punjab on Friday.
A statement of the Aryans Group of Colleges issued here said that the Bhog and Antim Ardaas would be held on Saturday between 1 to pm at Shri Sanatan Dharm Mandir, Sec-16 D Chandigarh.
Born and brought up in Muktsar, Prof Kataria was the founder of the Aryans Group of Colleges.
He did his MA (Economics) from Dehradun in 1973 and started his career as an Economics lecturer at Government College, Muktsar, Government College, Zira, and DAV School, Muktsar.
Prof Kataria is survived by his son, Anshu Kataria, the Chairman of Aryans Group and President of Punjab Unaided College.
