Rajouri, Jun 18: Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Rajouri today conducted an extensive road checking drive in Kalakote town of the district, a press release said.
The drive was carried out on the directions of Transport Commissioner, Vishesh Paul Mahajan and Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma.
As many as 90 vehicles were checked, of which 16 were e-challaned for violation of rules. The expected penalty amount from these e-challaned vehicles stands at approximately Rs 36,000.
