Army provides aid, assistance to affected Badhaal village

Jammu, Jan 19: Indian Army is assisting the civil administration in providing essential supplies to people in Rajouri district’s Badhaal village, traumatised by unexplained disease that claimed 17 lives in the past over 40 days or so.

Locals have extended gratitude to the Army for providing them with ration, tent, water and other essential supplies during their difficult time.

Notably the Army has joined the civil and Police administration to bolster their efforts to ease the situation there.

Teams of the health department are already camping there as MHA’s high-level team too has reached there to probe the cause of deaths. Police investigation was also underway.
