The Andhra Pradesh government is working decisively to transform the State into an aviation hub, said Roads and Buildings, Investments, and Infrastructure Minister B.C. Janardhan Reddy on Tuesday.

Addressing the media after a series of high-level meetings with investors at the Secretariat, the Minister said that several industrialists and investors who were previously hesitant were now evincing interest in investing in the State.

“The positive investment climate in the State is attracting aviation sector leaders from across the country,” he said.

During the meetings, many industry leaders expressed their willingness to invest heavily in aviation-related projects. Abhiram Chava, CEO of Magnum Wings, proposed a ₹1,500 crore investment in eVTOLs and drone manufacturing, with ₹350 crore in the initial phase.

Captain Shirish, Director of Aristotle Aviation Academy, expressed interest in setting up an aircraft simulation training unit with an estimated investment of ₹600 crore.

Captain Divya, Director of ePlane Company, plans to invest ₹1,200 crore in eVTOLs and air taxi manufacturing, with ₹270 crore earmarked for the first phase.
