Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Monday inaugurated and laid the foundation for development projects worth over ₹9,300 crore at Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC), Sitapura, in the presence of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. The event coincided with the inauguration of the six-day state-level exhibition ‘Nav Vidhan: Naya Nyay’ on new criminal laws.

During the event, the Home Minister performed the ground-breaking of MOUs worth ₹4 lakh crore under the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024. Financial support was transferred to approximately 40 lakh students for uniforms, amounting to ₹240 crore, and ₹364 crore was allocated as milk subsidies to dairy producers. The registration for the 150 Units Free Electricity Scheme was also launched.

Additionally, Amit Shah released the ‘Viksit Rajasthan-2047’ action plan, outlining the state’s long-term development vision.

Officials present included Law Minister Jogaram Patel, Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant, Director General of Police Rajiv Kumar Sharma, and other senior officers.

The combination of development project launches and the criminal law exhibition reflects efforts to strengthen infrastructure, investment, and governance processes in the state. The initiatives aim to support education, agriculture, energy access, and legal system efficiency while promoting investment and rural economic growth.
